G.S.S.T.T.I is a teacher training institute located in Perur,Ottapalam,Palakkad,Kerala. Sri Sadanam.K.Kumaran
honourable man by his deeds who has been a part of indian freedom struggle by collaborating with great personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru,is the founder of the institute.The educational institute started in 1947 in order to promote quality education. In 1951, the teacher training institute started with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi.Many famous personalities have been students of the institute.The institute currently functioning as a resource center.Our slogan is "THAMASOMA JOTHIRGAMAYA" .The major agenda of the institute is to develop quality teaching and enhanced learning experience for students.The institute functioning as a center of excellence for imparting education.
ABOUT THE COURSE
D.El.Ed is a course of 2 year duration. Train student teachers to interact and teach in friendly manner in elementary classes.The eligiblity of getting admission isminimum of 50% in aggregate in plus two. The syllabus has been developed according to the instructions from N.C.T.E. We have provision for accommodating 22 students for the course each year.
